- Patons Machinery provides utility vehicles, which has been serviced and to the best of our knowledge is in good mechanical condition. However it is the responsibility of the hirer to inspect the utility vehicles to be in a satisfactory condition before accepting hire of the utility vehicles. The utility vehicles are expected to be returned in the same condition. Once the hirer takes possession of the utility vehicles, Patons Machinery accepts no responsibility for the safety of any operator using the utility vehicles nor will we be responsible for any loss, injury, or mishap in which the utility vehicles may be involved in during the period of hire.
- The hirer will be held responsible for any repairs or replacement of parts and accessories, at the discretion of Patons Machinery, in the event of any loss or damage to hired utility vehicles. Including fire, theft, and accidental damage under insurance and we recommended that you amend your insurance policy for the hire period.
- This contract relates to the time that the hirer takes possession of the utility vehicles until the termination of the contract which can only occur once the utility vehicles has been inspected and checked by a Patons Machinery staff member. Patons Machinery will accept no responsibility for any misuse of the utility vehicles during the period of the contract.
- This contract commences once the utility vehicles is removed from the premises on the date of hire and will conclude when the utility vehicles are returned to Patons Machinery at 63 Yuilles Road Mornington Victoria in a satisfactory condition and the contract is paid in full.
- All vehicles hired from Patons Machinery are not to be used for any illegal activity, acts of terrorism etc. The hirer will be deemed responsible for the cost and replacement of the equipment hired as well as any cost’s incurred by Patons Machinery
- Vehicles shall not be hired out until a staff member has seen and recorded driver’s licence (or other acceptable form of positive identification) and the refundable deposit or credit card imprint has been obtained.
- All Vehicles are to be cleaned before the contract is terminated or additional charges will apply. Upto and including a maximum of $100.00 per vehicle for cleaning.
- Patons Machinery will supply the vehicles with a fuel and a fuel levy of $1.50 per litre will be charged if the vehicles are returned with out the same amount of fuel.
- The hirer agrees to abide by Patons Machinery “Terms and Conditions of Trade”, available from our website or upon request.
